UPDT Pty Ltd, trading as Alderman Compliance (ABN 63 660 129 804), trading as Alderman Compliance, is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our questionnaire, and what we do with it.
Order and contact details (name, email, phone), business details (business name, ABN, sector, services, locations, customer profile, controls) supplied through our questionnaire, and correspondence you send us. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
To prepare, deliver and, for the Written Q&A tier, support your compliance pack; to issue a tax invoice; to respond to your enquiries; and to meet our own legal and accounting obligations.
Your information is stored on infrastructure located in Australia. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it to draft any other customer's pack.
We delete your questionnaire answers and draft materials within 90 days of delivering your pack, unless you ask us to retain them for longer (for example, to support a future refresh) or we are required by law to keep records for longer. Your delivered pack and tax invoice are yours to keep; we may retain a copy of the invoice for our own accounting obligations.
We disclose personal information only to service providers who help us run this business (payment processing, email delivery, hosting) under terms that require them to protect it, or where required by law. We do not disclose your information to any other AML/CTF compliance provider.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@aldermancompliance.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email us first so we can try to fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
